Overview

ArtWRKD is pleased to announce the Third Annual Through the Artist Lens, a juried exhibition celebrating diverse visions, perspectives, and interpretations through the unique eyes of artists. This show invites artists to submit work in any medium that reflects their creative lens — whether literal, metaphorical, or deeply personal.

This annual event has become a hallmark of our calendar, showcasing the vitality of contemporary art while connecting collectors, art lovers, and creators in an engaging, community-driven space.

Theme

"Through the Artist Lens" is about perspective — the ways artists interpret, distort, magnify, or transform the world. Works may explore realism, abstraction, conceptual ideas, social commentary, or intimate personal narratives. We encourage submissions that challenge conventions and expand the viewer’s understanding of “seeing.”

Eligibility

Open to artists aged 18 and older.
All media accepted, including painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, and textile.
Work must be original, completed within the past two years, and available for the full run of the exhibition.
Maximum of 4 entries per artist. Not all entries are guaranteed acceptance.

Submission Guidelines

Submit HERE
Digital images should be high-resolution JPG or PNG, 300 dpi, with file name format: LastName_Title_Medium_Dimensions.
Include an artist statement (max 150 words) explaining how the work relates to the theme.

Sales

All works must be for sale.

ArtWRKD Represented Artists retain 60% of sales.

ArtWRKD retains 50% commission on sales made by non-represented artists.

Artists set retail prices.

Presentation Requirements

All 2D works must be ready to hang with proper hardware.
3D works must be stable and self-supporting or include appropriate display stands.
Works not meeting presentation requirements may be excluded.

Publicity

ArtWRKD will promote the exhibition through press releases, email marketing, social media, and local outreach. Accepted works may be featured in promotional materials.
